The challenge
Many people in Africa have problems acquiring bank accounts. Without a bank account it’s difficult to pay for items online that require a credit card. However, many Africans do have mobile money wallets. OnCard creates virtual credit cards that can be linked to a mobile money wallet enabling millions of people in Africa without a bank account to pay for online good.
The final design
We designed an app that had low friction ‘Know Your Customer’ process and gave the user an easy access to the card details they needed to buy online goods.
